Background
With the mission of promoting and facilitating connections between anyone in the world, Purpl wanted to build a marketplace that connects people with experts in any fields for advice or instruction over paid video chat.

My Role
As the solo product designer in this project, I was wearing multiple hats in the product development process. I worked with a cross-functional team of 9 talented individuals. I work closely with PM, developers and CEO on a regular basis to come up with design solutions and iterate upon the right solutions. In the project, I utilized my full range of interaction design, interface design, visual design, prototyping, usability testing and branding skills to validate/invalidate our hypothesis as quick as possible. I was also involved in product strategy and contribute to product vision. It had been a tremendous learning experience from day one.
